In the Library
You may not be financially compensated if you're a volunteer, but it still pays well!
If you're interested in volunteering, please call, email, or come and see us in the library. We are looking not just for counter staff and help with shelving books, but also for help in more specific areas such as IT Tuition, children's literacy, craft activities and fundraising,

Knit & Natter:
Tuesdays 10am - 12pm

Bounce and Rhyme:
Alternate Friday Mornings 10.30 - 11.00am Term time only.

Lego Club:
Every Saturday Morning 10.30 - 12.30pm.

Haddenham Community Library is a charity. We work hard to maintain our income so that we can continue to offer our services to our local community and to be able to plan for development of our offering. We are very grateful to our regular donors, some of whom are organisations, others individuals. We hold our own events to raise funds, but we also enjoy the proceeds of other fundraising events which are organised on our behalf by our supporters.

There have been cake sales and donations in lieu of birthday presents. Some community libraries enjoy the proceeds from charity auctions and golf days. Your creativity is the only limit!

Haddenham Community Library is developing a Friends programme which we hope to be able to launch very soon. As soon as we are able, we will be organising events, meetings, readings, outings and a newsletter to keep our supporters active and interested in our work.
