Borrowing from Haddenham Community Library

Haddenham Community Library remains part of BCC's network of libraries and becoming a member with us is no different from joining any other library in the county. If you don't already have a library card click here to find out how to get one. Remember to bring identification if you're joining!

Once you've joined you will be given a 4-digit PIN number that, when paired with the number on the back of your card, you can access loads of wonderful (and free!) online resources.

However, if 'real' books are more your thing- please look below for what Haddenham has to offer:

Free to borrow:

Fiction

Non Fiction

Biographies

Local Reference (some items not for loan)

Large Print Fiction

Large Print Non-Fiction

Magazines

For hire:

CD Audiobooks

For information on the hire charges and overdue fines associated with items please view our charges leaflet.

If you are unable to find what you are looking for on the shelves, please ask library staff who will try to obtain it for you. If we do not have the item in stock, it can usually be reserved from another library. There is a charge of 60p per reservation except for junior members of the library and those aged over 64.

Unless the books you have onloan are reserved by someone else, you can renew items up to 4 times - either online or in any Buckinghamshire library upon presentation of your membership card.

Although most of our stock belongs to the county, many items have also either been donated by patrons or purchased with the library funds. We are very grateful for donations of book stock to be made however please look at our donations policy so you know what we can accept.
