Working in partnership with Buckinghamshire Council
Our popular library is located in the heart of Haddenham and has served the local residents and those of other nearby villages for many years. It's now run by the community in partnership with Buckinghamshire County Council.

A welcoming, family friendly and vibrant community library in the heart of Haddenham
We are open!
We are delighted to be open again after the Coronavirus restrictions forced closure and grateful to Buckinghamshire Council Library Services in aiding us.
We are open for browsing of shelves, borrowing and returning books, and limited access to computer services.
Our opening hours are restricted, but please come to visit us on
Tuesdays 10am - 1pm
Fridays 10am - 1pm
We look forward to welcoming you back!
We follow current guidelines for the opening of public spaces and so we restrict numbers inside the library and ask you to use the hand sanitiser at the door before entry. From Tuesday 11th August, in line with government guidance, it will be mandatory for any visitor to library over eleven years of age to wear a face covering unless they have a legitimate reason not to do so. As this is a mandatory requirement, entry may be refused to anyone without a face covering or a valid exemption.
Reservations are back!
We are glad to now be able to offer a reservations service again. Books may be reserved online for pick up at the library, or just come in to the library and reserve a book in person. We will be glad to help you. Any reservations which were made prior to Covid restrictions are now starting to move and so you can expect a notification of availability soon.
And fines are back too...
There has been an amnesty on book returns and no fines have been issued on late returns due to the closure of the library service. However, all titles were due for return by 31st July and whilst there will be a small extension to allow for the quarantine of returned books, please be advised that from Monday 10th August fines will be due on any late returns.
Thank you for your support.
